One word of advice if you purchase this sampler - which, if you're interested enough in black pepper to be reading this review, you MUST do - don't
start with the Talamanca. It will tempt you to go no farther. Go you must. Dropped some whole Malabar peppercorns into a four-hour French stew at the
outset of cooking. Not only was the stew wonderful, getting one of the whole peppercorns in your mouth was an added treat. I'm sending one of these
to my son, who is a far better cook than I - but he's not fooled around with black pepper yet. Love this site, love the quality of the pepper -

For anyone out there that is just discovering this amazing world of specialty artisinal peppercorns, this is a wonderful place to start! It allowed me
to see first-hand the dramatic differences in peppercorns from different regions. Just as with Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara, Willamette Valley &
Burgundy, there is a world of difference, and this is a perfect, and very educational way to decide where your tastes lie.
