Pepper-Steak Rub

Ingredients:

¼ cup Brazilian Green Peppercorns
4 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon red sea salt
½ cup finely chopped onion

Preparation:

Place green pepper corns in a small bowl.  Cover with hot water.  Place a weight on top of pepper to keep the corns below the water.  Let stand for 30 minutes.

Drain.  Mash softened corns into a paste with a mortar and pestle.   Add garlic, salt and onion.

Rub over two 8-oz steaks.  Grill to perfection.
