What's New at Pepper-Passion
July, 2010
- Sad News! The farm that produced our Talamanca Del Caribe is no more. We were able secure a very small amount at a higher price than before and this product will no longer be available once this stock runs out. Pineapples are now being grown where the fabulous Talamanca pepper was once grown. We are attemtping to secure samples from other pepper farmers in the region but have nothing to evaluate thus far.
January, 2010
- We are now offering our most popular Sea-Salt, the Alaea Hawaiian Red, in a 2.5 lb Magnum Pack size. Buy this larger size and save.
October, 2009
- Pepper-Passion now has a simple and elegant battery operated Pepper Mill. This unit is is made from Stainless Steel, is priced at $25.00 with an adjustable ceramic mechanism that will grind either pepper or salt.
- Pepper-Passion introduces the "Pepper-Pump", a compact thumb operated Stainless Steel Pepper Mill that allows one-handed grinding of either salt or pepper. This unit is priced at only $20.00 and carries a lifetime warranty.
- Pepper-Passion has placed a special on order for the Pocket Pepper Mill and will now be the exclusive distributor for this product within the USA.
September, 2009
- Pepper-Passion has secured a source for the rare Kampot Organic Black Peppercorns from Cambodia and we are now offering them at special introductory pricing in our 4 and 10-ounce Value-Packs and in our 20 ounce Magnum Packs. They have been added to the Peppercorn Omni-Pack and will also be available as an extra cost optional addition with the Black Pepper Sampler Packs.
August, 2009
- The Peppercorn Omni-Pack has been upgraded to include the air-dried green peppercorns and now comprises a total of 15 bags of pepper. The Rainbow Sampler Pack has also been amended to allow an option to select either air-dried or freeze-dried green peppercorns.
May, 2009
- We recently were able to secure a source of Indian air-dried green peppercorns. The exciting news is that they taste great and are much less expensive than the green freeze-dried peppercorns that we also sell. Try some and whip up a batch of green peppercorn sauce!
July, 2008
- After much searching we have finally been able to add the "missing link" in our line of black peppercorn offerings. We now offer Sarawak Black peppercorns in three different bag sizes. Better yet, this is the Number 1 grade, the highest grade offered by the Malaysian Pepper Board. The various sampler packs have been amended to include this new pepper.
